Kosher caterer?
A friend of mine just lost her husband in that small plane crash in Ct., and I wanted to send some food. Does anyone know any good Kosher caterers (Suffolk)? They only eat Kosher foods.

There is a koshher delicatesan in the Wheatley plaza shopping center that delivers. It is on Glen Cove Road. The name is escaping me, let me think. Also Harry and David is Kosher.
ETA: Ben's Kosher Deli--they deliver

There is also one in the Smith Haven Mall or Woodbury which may be closer depending on where it needs to go.

Depending on how Kosher they are, Ben's might not work. My Orthodox friends only eat Glatt Kosher food, and Ben's is not glatt. I don't know Suffolk, so I don't have any recommendations, but I just wanted to point that out just in case.

I was just going to say this!!! If there is a religious area near you, stop into a store there. We've used Bagel Boss. I THINK they are Glatt but I am not totally sure. I know that my MILs temple is strict about food that is brought in, and Bagel Boss has their ok. They have a few stores and some nice spreads.
We have also used Regal Deli in Planiview and Pastrami and Friends in Commack. I don't really know if they adhere to the Glatt Kosher rules, though.
