Kolkraft Easy Reach Rocking Bassinet

I got this bassinet at my shower two weeks ago, and I love EVERYTHING about it except for the mattress. It's very flimsy and it's only about 1 1/2 inches in thickness. There is a firm bottom to it, but with all the efforts I've made to keep the baby's crib safe (to offset scary SIDS), I want the bassinet's mattress to be safe as well.

I want to buy another mattress for this bassinet, but they don't sell them on the Kolkraft site.

Any suggestions? Would you purchase another mattress that is safer, or would you just use the one the bassinet came with?

I have a similar bassinet and registered for the bassinet mattress from BRU. The mattress that came with it was sooooooo cheap!!!! Go for it!

I saw this one too and loved it but was concerned about the mattress. I didn't know they sell the mattress seperately. Let me know how if you find a mattress.
