Last week when they had the 50% off sale I got a bunch of stuff for the boys.... I get an email today saying that they cancelled 7 of the 8 items I ordered.
I call customer service and ask why I was allowed to "order" if the stuff was out of stock. The chick was like oh our inventory and site do not sync. I'm like Hello, how do you run an ecommerce business if you can't mange/track your inventory. She was just like I don't know and I'm sorry.
I guess I should be grateful that I got the SmartCycle a few weeks ago. I will never order from them again.
Here I thought I was done shopping and would avoid the madness at the toy store. 
Sorry I just needed to vent

someone else was saying there item got put on back order after christmas the other day.. that sucks. I dont know how they get away doing business this way.
Dont they understand people are depending on them, the holidays are right around the corner..

This JUST happened to me too. I ordered 14 things (for DD and other kids!), all F-P toys 2 weeks ago when they were 50% off plus 20% off. They emailed me the other day that all but 3 items shipped, that the others were still waiting. I received a big box of items today and went to check online about the other 3, and it said 'cancelled', but they had the toys on their website still (for more money of course), and I had never been notified that they had been 'cancelled'.
I called customer service. I was on the phone w/them for probably close to 30 minutes, but they 'checked the inventory' at the warehouse (they told me the same thing about the site and the warehouse not matching) and had them in stock, and I made them give it to me at the sale price I originally ordered them at. And the 20% on top (although they gave me 2 totals before 'remembering' to put the 20% in). Plus they honored the free shipping that I had gotten with the original order. Annoying, a big runaround, but totally worth it.
Give them a call and demand the price you ordered at!!

Maybe I'm just lucky, but all but one of my things has shipped now - hopefully the last one will come too 
I have heard about this happening to other people though and I was a little nervous about it but the 50% and 20% together with free shipping was too good to pass up...

Same thing happened to us. WE got the Smart Cycle, but they cancelled the 3 other things we ordered. They suck!

I had a lot of trouble with my Smart Cycle. They said they shipped it, but it never arrived. I kept calling, but they said they didn't have it in stock, and that they can't back order things. The other day, I saw it back in stock, for twice what I paid. I called, they gave it to me for what I paid, including a 10% coupon. And the lady I spoke wiith priority shipped it (usually $15 extra), so I finally got it today. Keep watching their website for when they have the items back in stock and call. Hopefully you'll be lucky!

The same thing happened to me but when I called, the item that was canceled was in stock and the gentleman reordered for me with my original discount and free shipping. Maybe you can call back and ask them if they will do that for you.
