kitchen counter tops
Where can I go to get inexpensive counter tops for my kitchen..... Also I need something I can get within 4-5 days.....

Laminates.
If you have a galley style kitchen (no corners) then you can buy pre-fab laminate right off the shelf (not much of a choice of style or size) at Home Depot or Lowes. That's probably the best choice for that short time frame
Many kitchen counters do need to be measured and custom made though.

We do have a galley like kitchen set up - But the counters are 9' something on each side - and then we have a shelf made out of the same counter top as the passway window - I guess we will have to see - Do you know how long special orders take....

We special ordered ours from Lowes. _ we gave them all the measurements and they cut the sink out for us. We ordered a formica top that looks like a granite top.
Lowes is cheaper then Home depot. We paid $150 for oue 9 foot counter

Thanks for the info - We decided to have our contractors get it made from there counter guy because they warranty it so for a few extra dollars its tere problem.. LOL - I love the counters that look like granite but I heard that if you get a glossy counter and it gets scratched it looks worse then on a matte counter....
Scott - What color counter did you get??

Home Depot sells the laminate counter tops up to 10 feet long. They are about $85 each.
