kitchen cabinets- questions
we need to order cabinets-we went to consumers and priced up kraftmaid cabinets but im wondering anyone else has them and if theyre happy with them...
and also, if you dont have kraftmaid cabinets, what Do you have and are you happy with them- quality wise?

I have Kraftmaid and I love them......they are so well made and havent had any issues.
My parents have had Kraftmaid in 3 kitchens.

we have kraftmaid. Ordered from consumers, wasn't happy with them. You can order Kraftmaid from home depot or lowes I think. Basicaly they claimed to give discounts, but they just cut corners on details .They ordered flat front drawers when I asked for the durango ones...ordered 36" cabinets with small molding when I asked for 30" cabinets with large molding. But he "thought it would look better" I just accepted the error on the molding and cabinet size, but demanded new draw fronts. They also never ordered our bathroom vanity 8 weeks later I had to start all over again somewhere else.

we got our kraftmaid cabinets through consumers and had no issues with customer service or delivery.
so far, we love them (but they've only been in about 2 years)

We used Consumers for our Kraftmaid kitchen cabinets and were very happy in end. The guy we worked with had great ideas. They also have a great referral plan now if you refer someone. We are getting a $500 or $600 (not sure which amount) debit card in the mail b/c our friends ordered when we referred them.
They go over every detail with you before you sign so if there are mistakes made that is the time to fix them before you accept the plan.

I got Kraftmaid from HD and I love love love them
I think it all depends on who has the better offer at the time, but Consumers at my time to buy came in about 5k over what HD did. Good Luck to you

We considered Kraftmaid cabinets for our kitchen, but ultimately ended up going with Brookhaven by Woodmode because the options Kraftmaid offered were too limiting and I wanted to be able to customize every inch of our kitchen.
I LOVE my cabinets and am so happy with our decision.
We did pay a little bit more than we would have for Kraftmaid, but for just a little extra money we got A LOT more kitchen!
