Kitchen cabinets
Could you just replace the cabinet hardware and countertop and put a backsplash up or would it look stupid? I posted pics the other day of them. They're older and darker. I was just wondering.
Or could you replace just the doors?

you could do all of the above. A lot of folks just replace the doors.

We have older oak cabinets we just polished them and replaced all the hardware.

We did that to our kitchen and I think it made a huge improvement. We sanded and painted the cabinets, replaced the hardware and put in a new formica backsplash and countertop. We also put in new linoleum flooring ourselves and it was a great quick-fix for the next few years until we can redo the kitchen completely.
