Kindergarten - not public school

If you child went to kindergarten and it was not your local public school....where did you send them?

Feel free to be specific about exactly where you sent your kid. My friend has a son with at 12/22 birthday and they won't make an exception. He's way too advanced to not go into kindergarten, we think he'll be bored there if he has to wait another year.

We sent one to Trinity Regional School in East Northport but pulled them & sent them to public school after 2 months.

Hate, hate, hate the ego manical principal who is on a power trip.

The nursery school my kids go to has a full day kindy.

It seems that most of the families in our area that go the private school route tend to go to one of the religious schools around here.

I know that a few kids who graduated from the nursery school program are going onto kindy at Merrick Progressive and one is going to Friends Academy.

Wee Friends in Wantagh.

ETA: My friend's son just graduated from the K program at Grace Day School in Massapequa. She loves the school, her dd is starting the nursery school program in Sept.
