Kinda Stupid Crayons Question
When do you start giving them crayons to color?
What's the best stuff to get them? Regular crayons or anything special?
Mason is 13 months and hasn't played with them yet.

Well I tried to show Liam (13 mos) to color at Friendly's last night. He like it but as soon as I took my hand off of his.. right in the mouth.. SO I guess he's not ready!

 That's what I'm afraid of. Everything goes in the mouth
He got the concept of brushing his own hair and then right after he brushes (well, more his face then hair) it goes right in the mouth

I'd start now. DS was playing with them by 12-13 months old and loves to color now at 18 months old. He occasionally tried to put them in his mouth. Just keep an eye on your DS while he's coloring. I bought the thicker Crayola washable crayons so they wouldn't break as easily.
