Kind of a wacky question...
So I was telling a co-worker today about my sonogram situation last week- and how every time we have a sono- the baby doesnt want to play- how it just shows us its back- and doesnt cooperate. She said "well, they do know when they are "on camera".......
Do you believe that? I know, its wacky.

You know what's wacky... my aunt telling my mom to tell me not to get too many sono's because the baby can hear the sound waves and its too high pitched and unsafe.

Actually because it is ultrasonic waves going through fluid there may be something the baby can hear/feel. Who knows?

Yes, I do believe that they can hear or feel it. Whenever I would use the doppler, DS would "hide" from it. Or, maybe it is the pressing on the belly.

Re: Kind of a wacky question...
I don't think they know when they're on camera but I personally don't think my DS likes to feel the pressure of the sonotech pushing on his territory while looking for him. He always hides his faced and pushes away from where she is with the wand thing.
