Kim Richards‘ friend is biting back.
A woman attacked by Richards’ pitbull back in March is suing the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” castmate, following news this week that the dog violently went after the reality star’s 18-year-old niece, Alexia Umansky.
Kay Rozario told TMZ she plans to file a lawsuit next week, claiming Richards refused to pay her medical bills after the pooch badly injured her at Richards’ Los Angeles home. The dog reportedly bit through Rozario’s hand, down to the bone, and also damaged the woman’s arm after she used it to shield her face.
Rozario told TMZ the first thing Richards said post-attack was, “Please don’t tell anyone. I’ll lose my show.”
Richards, who acknowledged that the March attack happened, told Page Six in a statement that she was “shocked to learn” that her life-long family friend, whom she called a “second mother,” was suing.
“When the bite occurred I offered immediately to handle any and all costs associated with the hospital visit but was told that would not be necessary and there was nothing she needed me to do because insurance covered all costs,” Richards said.
“It’s unfortunate how people can go against decades of friendship when something like this happens and make their rounds to the media for money,” added Richards.
Umansky, the daughter of Kim’s sister (and fellow “RHOBH” cast member) Kyle Richards, underwent two surgeries after the pooch bit her several times on Saturday. The dog bit through her thumb, down to the bone.
Regarding the dog Kingsley’s future, Kim told Page Six: “At this point I am looking at options to what the next step is for Kingsley. As many of you can relate, he is my best friend. This is a very difficult decision and time for all of us, but the safety of my family always comes first.”
She also quipped that “anyone entering the house is made aware that the dog should not be bothered.”
TMZ reports the attack on Umansky came out of nowhere.
In addition to the attacks on Umansky and Rozario, the dog also went after a trainer during an episode of the Bravo reality show and injured someone else over the summer, according to the website.
After her daughter got hurt, Kyle, 45, shared photos of the family, including a recovering Umansky with visible bandages, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. “Slumber party at Cedars Sinai Hospital with@alexiaumansky @farrahbritt @sophiakylieee,” she captioned the pic.

I'm not as bothered about the lawsuit as I am the dog and his level of agression.

If she thought she'd lose her show, she should have paid the medical bills.

Also I'm pretty sure if she really is blaming her niece on this one, it's definitely RHOBH worthy. Andy Cohen is just regretting he didn't get either attack on camera & Kim has just made herself relevant again.
