I just wanted to put it out there that we have been SO lucky to find an amazing person to help us control and LEARN about DS's asthma.... and she was in our own Pediatrician's Office!!! She is a Nurse Practitioner and specializes in kids with Asthma. I never knew how to manage his asthma, and she has made our life so much easier! She actually quizzes me before leaving the office to make sure that I understand how to take care of him and control him, I think that is great!
I can't even explain how much more comfortable I feel going to her.

Anyway, if you are looking for more information about kids with Asthma, she is VERY experienced and is specialized in this area. She teaches on the topic and works with the American Lung Assoc. She is located in Riverhead, but worth the trip if you need help controlling your DC.
