Kids say the darndest things!
So I was over my sister's the other day and my 7 year old niece was proudly telling me her friend at school is also getting a "new cousin" this year.....then we started talking about our upcoming trip to Virginia next month, and she asks me "so is the baby coming on the trip too?" It was SO cute!! I had to explain the baby won't be here until later in the year but he or she is sorta coming with us Too much to explain to a 7 year old! She kept hugging & kissing me all day, I guess b/c I'm really starting to show and she can see real proof her baby cousin is on the way! I love how excited she is!

That's so sweet!! I love her enthusiasm!
Just wait until you're near the end and she starts asking how the baby will get out of there. Thanksgiving 2010 I was 34 weeks pregnant and my nephew had just turned 5. I just told him to guess how the baby comes out. He finally decided it must come out the belly button. I told him he could ask his mom later if he wanted.

SOOO CUTE!!
Heres a cute one too - about a week before we found out we were prego my 6yr old son said he wanted a little brother or sister... So DH and I laughed and said we would see what we could do... His response to that was " There is a child care center right up the road - we should just go get one. He only had two questions " does it come with a name and how do you know when it's birthday is" LOL OMG so funny!

All those are funny!
I made the mistake of telling DD that the baby can hear us now. She decided to read the baby a book, and by "read" I mean she yelled it, right next to my belly, lol. She told me it was "just incase it's hard for the baby to hear us out here".

Hopefully no one else's kids ask me delivery questions, that is too funny!! I would tell them the same thing you did if I get asked! .....um, go ask mommy
