Kids clothes at Ex husband's house
Does your ex provide clothes for your kids, or do you buy (from child support) clothes to send with them?

I would not expect my ex to buy more clothes for them when he pays child support. Since DDs are older and have certain favorites they pack a bag every other weekend. I used to leave basics there like socks, underwear, leggings, PJs, tops.
My BF has a lot of his DDs clothes but never buys any. She goes there 33% of the time. Her mom takes bags of clothes back during changes of season and size and rotates them out.

Re: Kids clothes at Ex husband's house
My Dad always took us shopping for clothes/sneakers/ shoes. Some stayed at his place, some we brought back home. This was in addition to CS

Re: Kids clothes at Ex husband's house
My DH purchased a seperate set of clothes for whenever SD visited. It wasnt like that at first. At first his ex provided an overnight bag as per their visitation agreement and everytime there would be stuff missing like shirts or pants. Or she would send non weather appropriate clothing like tank tops in january. After she took him to court for leaving SD's winter hat in the car by accident claiming he stole it. DH decided it was easier for her to have a second set at his place.

Re: Kids clothes at Ex husband's house
I don't provide clothes for Ex Dhs house. There are times I send specific items that she may need but generally he dresses her with what he purchased. I tend to provide the big stuff...shoes, coats, etc.
ETA: I discussed this with my attorney when we were divorcing and she told me I was not required to pack a bag and provide everything for DD. She said that DD should have stuff of her own at his house so it also feels like a home to her. Im sure as she gets older, she will want to wear certain items that she has at one of our houses while at the others so, of course, she can bring them back and forth, but at that point it will be her choice and responsibility.
Also, my DH buys clothes for my SS for our house and SS's mom also buys clothes for her house. The clothes end up going back and forth as he wears them but he never packs a bag to bring one place or the other unless he needs something specific (ie, baseball uniform, dress shoes, etc.) They both buy items as SS needs them and they communicate about what they bought so he doesn't end up with duplicates of more expensive items.

Kids clothes at Ex husband's house
DH's ex always bought all of my SS's clothes from CS and he (SS) would keep some clothing at our house and some at her house (at the time, SS split his time evenly between our house and her house - now he lives with us full time and DH does not pay CS anymore - we buy all his clothes now and all of his clothes are at our house - he does not spend much time at his mother's house).

Re: Kids clothes at Ex husband's house
I buy all the clothes and I always send Julian with whatever he needs for the time he will be with his father. And his father is more than welcome to come and take what he needs from Julian's closet at my house. He has a key to my home and the code for the alarm system. He can come/go when he needs to and help himself to anything that Julian needs.
I know this is not the norm and not common but I do this for my son so that he has whatever he needs and it makes it much easier on his father.

Re: Kids clothes at Ex husband's house
When SD was little, we bought clothes to keep at our house but it never really worked. Inevitably she would wear home what we bought. We never wanted to be like "Get changed before you go home!" and make her feel weird. It ended up that we would be calling her mom "Hey, can you send back the jeans and the shirt, etc." so her mom just began packing a bag so it was easier for everyone. If we had a specific event, like Christmas, her mom would have outfits she bought for her and would send them over. Staples like PJs, socks, underwear...we always bought those for our house.
Now that SD is a teenager, she brings what she wants from home. She will leave stuff at our house too. Her mom buys her 90% of her clothes but SD does a lot of her own shopping with gift cards and bday money too. Its not that we expect her mom to buy all of her clothes with CS (I mean, we do, but if she asked us to buy her something we absolutely would) she just never needs anything or expresses that she needs anything. The kid is a clothes horse!
