Kiddie parties...how much to spend on a gift?
If it's just a regular kiddie party at the house...Do you think a $25 gift is sufficient? I'm new to these kiddie parties!

$40 is the norm in DC's circle of friends. More for relatives, less ( $30'ish ) for kids he isn't very close with.

Sounds right. For close friends I tend to go a bit more, but on average $25 is good.

For friends in her class that she is being invited to parties, I spent about $20-$25. Family members kids or my close friends kids I usually spend from $30-$50, depending how close.
