Kicking myself and feeling sick over it.
I lost $1500 cash. DH and I had an envelope with cash and I really think I lft it in my car when I intended to bring it to the bank and someone stole it. I have looked everywhere. I am so afraid to tell my husband. I keep saying, Oh I can save it again, no biggie, but then I think, IT IS a BIG deal. I could have used it for so much.
I think not telling my husband, who will KILL me is what is making me so sick.
UGH! Pray it will show up.
Good St. Anthony, look around, something is lost and can not be found.

Was your car left unlocked at any time?
Are you sure it was stolen?
Maybe it fell behind a seat or something?

 yeah I would be sick over it as well.
I'm sure you tore your car apart. But are you sure that was the last place you had it?
Would he have taken it to test you if your door was unlocked?

I searched the entire car. I honestly just do not know where it could be. I am hoping my DH found it and is waiting for me to ask. I am scared to tell him. We have been under such stress, I would not put it past me leaving it in my unlocked car. I totally deserve this for being so dumb. If it was stolen I hope karma gets that person, I would NEVER steal!

Yes, check every nook and cranny of that car, sometimes things slip between the console and the seat and you can't see it.
Are you sure it was in the car? Flip everything inside out, I'm sure it will turn up!!!

Ugh I'd be sick too. Go out with a flash light and look in every part of the car again sometimes things slide in the car and you cant see them. Retrace steps, are you sure it was in the car maybe you left it somewhere else? Praying it turns up!

Kicking myself and feeling sick over it.
Obviously back track all your steps, look everywhere that you can think of but ultimately, I wouldn't let it bother me too much. It's just money, you can make more. No one is hurt or sick as a result of it. I like to put things like this in perspective to save myself stress. It's not some life altering issue.
Basically, I hope you find it but it's ultimately a small bump in the road so don't beat yourself up over it!

Thank you, I keep telling myself this. I know in the grand scheme of life, it is minor. I could not sleep last night. I would settle my nerves and tell myself it is fine. I think the not telling my dh is what is killing me. I almost need his reassurance that it is ok. I hate keeping secrets from him.
We just bought a house OOS and we are waiting until January to move, to save more money and for my ds to have an easy transition into school. My husbnad has this magic number in his head, $10k. I know it is realistic, but this set me back!!!
I am angry for possibly allowing it to get stolen, especially since we had it sitting in the house for MONTHS.
Thank you though, this is what I needed to hear!

I hope it turns up! I remember when I was younger, my mom had this little change purse she used to keep in her bag. She had went to the bank and withdrew $500 and put it in there. All of a sudden, she couldn't find it. She was literally SICK over it. I remember helping her look in the car and look everywhere around the house hoping we'd find it. All of a sudden, a few days later, it appeared between the passenger seat and the passenger side door. She was sooooooooooooooo happy. I must've been like.. 10 and I still remember it like it was yesterday. LOL. I really really really really really hope you find it!

some people might laugh, but i was taught a million years ago to take a red ribbon (i use yarn) and tie it around the leg of a piece of furniture as you pray to st anthony. in your prayer, say that you are binding st anthony as you are binding this leg until he finds the lost item.
works every single time. just this week, my prayer found a lost debit card, and lost tools... yes, we are a forgetful bunch.
i'll be praying for you, as well.

I thought i lost a piece of jewelry once and DH found it. He wanted to see how long it would take for me to notice.

I'm sorry, I really hope it turns up! 2 weeks ago I lost $500.00. I had to tell DH and it just stinks. I literally never carry cash with me. My prayers didn't work so I didn't go to any stores or purchase anything for almost 2 weeks! I feel a bit better knowing I have saved that amount of $ back now. Still sucks though

i hope you find it. for weeks I couldn't find my ring my so got me. I was scared to tell him but one day last week cleaning my closet I found it on the floor. so idea how it got in the closet. I really hope you find it.
