KeySpan/National Grid Phone Call !!!
DH and I were all snug in our bed this morning, when, at 4:53 am, the phone rings!!  I went into panic mode thinking something terrible happened to my Mom or Dad and run into the kitchen to answer the call !! Oh, by the way, I am 8 months preggo and haven't moved this fast since October!!
Anyway, it was RECORDED MESSAGE from Keyspan letting us know about "assistance" in our area in case we needed help paying our bill.  Needless to say, after the call, DH and I are now awake, annoyed and can't go back to sleep. There goes a few precious hours of sleep that I can't have back, EVER.
Now here's the real kicker: I called Keyspan to let them know what happened and the CS rep tells me that there is something wrong with their automated system, we should not have received the call in the first place since our account is up to date and that my complaint is "duly noted". She actually just said "your complaint is duly noted". No apology whatsoever!! 
Maybe I am just uber-sensitive right now because of the lack of sleep and pregnancy, but I am so angry and dissatisfied with this response!! Am I over reacting?  I know it's not her fault since it was an automated system and that she's just doing her job but I am so annoyed by the entire situation!
Okay, vent over, thanks for letting me rant like a loon here! I feel a wee bit better already !!

UNreal! I actually got a phone call from them too as I was on my way to the hospital. My father is in the Neuro ICU. I answer b/c I didn't know who it was. When I told the customer rep. i was on my way to the hopsital and that I'd call her back soon, she said, "well how will you get our number?" Ummm the website, phonebook, the caller ID from the call I just received perhaps. How about...hope everything's OK talk to you when you call back. Dumb!
PS I happen to be preggo too so I totally feel for you.

Yeah they called our house last week w/ some recorded message late at night w/ some recorded message I hung up on.
