Keratin dilema
So, I really want to get the keratin treatment done. I started seeing a new stylist in January and I love her. She does the keratin at her salon. She said for my hair, it will be about $250. It's the no wash for 3 day treatment. I was in to see her in Saturday and we discussed it some more. If I go to her, I have to call her today. She mentioned they now have the 1 day wash available but it's stronger and I don't really need it for my hair. I didn't ask her how much the 1 day costs.
I know that other salons (like the one in Copiague that several people have recently been to) are doing the 1 day for under $200. I'm very tempted to go here but don't know if I should cheat on my stylist like that.
What do you think? I asked her about the difference in price between salons and she said that a salon may advertise one price but when I go there, it will be more. My hair isn't super long, definatley past my shoulders, so maybe she's right.

Re: Keratin dilema
I would go with who you trust and are more comfortable with. Personally I wouldn't go to some random salon that I've never been too to get the Keratin done. I would go to my regular stylist/salon even if it meant paying alittle more.

Thanks for the advice. I'm going to stick with my regular person.
PS - It's Antoinette from Giovanna's!!!! I went to her after doing a search on this board and I saw your post about doing the keratin with her!

I actually do my own BKT. Much ridiculously cheaper, same fabulous results and it's the one day, so once you're done with the last blowdry step, you can wash and do whatever you want.
