Karate lessons
How much do you spend a month on karate? My dd wants to do it but I don't think we can afford it. So I'm curious what the going rate is or if it varies.

DS is 6 yrs told and takes taekwondo. We pay $155 a month with a 12 month contract. He is eligible to attend three 30 minute classes a week. The classes are 45 minutes for the older kids. A 7 month contract is about $170 a month. Equipment cost is separate and belt test is about $50.

We have similar pricing for our Taekwondo studio. A bit less a month.... but twice a week (3 times if making up days). DS loves it. I think it’s a bit like dance meets fighting skills. I was surprised by how $$ it was.

We did Kempo. They have a 3 Month trial that was about $99 with free uniform. Then if you signed up the yearly rate was $149.00 but they had classes 7 days a week and you could go as often as you liked.

When my son was doing karate, it was $147 a month for a 12 month contract and you could go as often as you like.
