Just wonder about toy guns
SO many people seem to against toy guns, I get it but I find it a little sad at the same time. I remember water gun fights being one of the highlights of summer as a little kid! We would get the entire block involved!
So did you play with water guns as a kid?

I probably did, and I am on the older end of LIFers. Back in the 70s, gun control wasn't as much of an issue. Children weren't shooting each other in the streets and they weren't bringing guns to school.
In my family, we played in the sprinklers on the front lawn.

OH me too! I can't wait!!!
My sister was telling me the other day she was driving her kids to school and sees her 10 y/o in the back with a daydreamy smile, so she asks him what he is thinking about. He says "I was thinking about summer and blasting Johnny(his brother) up the driveway with my super-soaker"

Yes, but they were more of the super soaker type which I don't have an issue with.
I do have an issue with toy guns that look like the real thing.

Absolutely. We would sneak them into HS as well (they would get confiscated if found) and have water gun fights during recess or getting on the bus.
