It was by Christy Turlington and was called No Woman No Cry and it was about impoverished women in "slums" and villages in other countries and the dangers of giving birth. It was so moving and SO eye opening. It was about the lack of access to medical care, the "fear" due to not being educated of the medical, the lack of information, the shame of not birthing at home. It spoke of women in Guatemala without access to resources and the Drs with very little training and abortion. I know some of us have had scary birth experiences, myself included but this was on another level. It also touches on women here in this country without access to prenatal care. I feel for these women, and I suggest if you have time that you watch it. It was really unbelievable. I rented it on Amazon and I know it is also available on iTunes.

Has anyone else seen this? As mothers, I think it is something we can all relate too and should watch if you have a moment.
