Just married!
I have been married for three weeks and just got back from my honeymoon. Can anyone tell me where to begin changing my name legally? I know there's the DMV and Social Security..am I forgetting anything? Thanks!!

Hi and welcome! 
This board doesn't get much traffic, especially on a Friday night 
As far as changing your name - DMV (license, registration, title), Social security, bank, credit cards, magazine subscriptions, student loans, investments (I'm a teacher and had to change it on my 403B), your place of employment, passport, utilities (if you own a home), car payment...
That's all I can think of off the top of my head - I am sure there are more....

Hi and welcome!
You will find these boards very helpful but you have to give a thread some time for people to view it and answer if they know it.
You will also find a ton of threads on your question on LIWeddings.com (this site's sister) On the Newlywed board.
You might also find other helpful thread since you are newly married as well  congratulations

The best place to start is DMV and SS office its pretty easy to make the changes,

You need to change it everywhere, DMV, SS, credit cards, banks, if you have a 401k or 403b any certifications you may have for your job. So far I only have the first two done.
