i am so happy today....
my former manager (who is now my boss', boss', BOSS).....is here today. he's visiting our office...
i loved working for him more than i have ever, in my life, loved working for or with ANYONE. he made coming to work a TRUE JOY....
when he left, he was transferred (by choice) to a position in China...and to describe my adoration for him and vice versa, if he could've taken me with him, i would've GONE & dave never once would've questioned why.
he walks into my office this morning and asks me, 'am i going to meet emma?'. I said - well, she's home with dave today....he gets HONESTLY upset...she's not with the sitter over here? i remind him that Monday/Friday are Dave's days' off and he says, 'unacceptable, i have to meet her'.....so now at 2:30 - i'm going to leave work, drive home to get Em and then come back to work...
i just had to share my joy today... he's originally from Ghana - so he has the most magnificent accent & laugh...and just hearing his laugh in the other room makes me SO happy!!!!
