Just had my maternity leave approved
I just met with my boss...this is what she approved for my maternity leave...by law we are allowed to stay out for 12 weeks...but only 6 of those 12 weeks are paid in full....
6 weeks full pay
2 weeks vacation
total 8 weeks full pay
then the remaining 4 of the 12 weeks I will work a couple of days from home with pay (only for those days).
Then when i return full time in December I will work 4 days at work and 1 at home with no salary reduction.
 i'm happy. I'd rather never come back, but unless we win the lotto thats not gonna happen

I hope I can manage to get something similiar.
Pre-Pregancy I thought I would always want to go back to work but I am having major second thoughts. (I shouldn't bother it's just not possible)

That is really wonderful..its nice to see some bosses realizing that working from home is an option...
I worked a strictly M-F 9-5 office job for a few years..I liked it well enough BUT I just couldnt get past the fact that most of the time I could of worked from home....as could most of us in the office..but the boss wouldnt even consider it!!!!!!!!!!! Our office was totally paperless and the front office scanned in and forwarded all our memos and correspondence to our emails..I could honestly be in my office all day long and never actually physically speak to someone all day!!!!!!!!
