Just Got Back From the RE
I just got back from my follow up with the RE after my surgery. I'm healing nicely. He said that there is a 40-60% chance that the endometriosis will come back. The endometrioma was actually 6cm and there were a lot of adhesions to my pelvic area and the left tube. I have to go back to him when I get my next period with my big bag of fertility drugs. We are going to start with the Lupron shots and do another IUI. I pray to God that this will work. I'm just frustrated.

Glad to hear things are looking good.
I just noticed you said Lupron and IUI! That's what I'm getting ready to do b/c my regular IUI didn't work. Can I ask what your protocol is w/ lupron? Are BCPs part of your protocol as well? TIA!

I don't know if he'll have me take anything else with the Lupron. So far he hasn't prescribed me any BCP. I forgot all the meds he prescibed me, which was a lot. I'm still staying with my parents until Sunday and all of my meds are at my apartment.

Thanks again for all the well wishes. My parents just left to drop of my disability papers at my job and I had a little breakdown. I had a small pity party for myself. The doctor said that its not going to be easy to get me pregnant because of my age (35), only 1 working tube, and that the endometriosis will come back. I am just scared that I might be able to have a baby. I am just really really scared. I know that I have a lot of support from my family, friends, co-workers and the ladies on this board. I know a lot of people are praying for me. My fears are getting the best of me. I'm trying very hard to be strong and not let it get to me, but its easier said than done.

I know that more than you can know Today i just found out i am pregnant and i never thought it would happen.
I have 1 tube like you, stage 3 endo and pcos, my dh had morphology problems too..
i tell you this because there is hope..i got pregnant with IUI and my right tube, the only one I have, is not that great...i was gearing up for IVF the beginning of May, i have my beta tomm am and really am hoping this will last!!!
Keep up the faith and dont give up, it is very possible and likely with one tube and endo.

Thank you for your story. It truly does give me hope. I guess when you are in the middle of the hurricane, sometimes its hard to see the clear sky ahead.
