Just got back from my 36 week appointment.. had GBS test done
and I feel so silly for worrying about it! It was seriously nothing. If I didn't have to get undressed for just that I would have never have known she did it.
It was a small swab of the front and YES the back.. but it was more like a swipe nothing more!
Just thought I would let all of you who have not had it done know since I spent half the afternoon searching this topic

Test for Group B strep.. they do it around 36 weeks

yea I didnt think it was bad either- no worse than a pap- except thats internal and this one's outside!

No. they dont do internals until 39 weeks.. I wish they did do one yesterday though bc I have been having some MAJOR cramps lately. Also I would know what to expect and not be so anxious for another 3 weeeks

Not really. Its not even internal really. More of a swab of the outside area
