just found out a co-worker/friend had a miscarriage...anything i can do?
is it better to just let it be, or can i give a card or something? i feel so sad

It really depends on how close you are to them. Honestly, I wouldn't send a card or anything, but if she approaches you about it, or tells you about it, I would kindly let her know that you are there for her if she needs to talk. I wouldn't do or say anything unless she approaches you first, it's a very difficult thing to deal with and everyone handles it differently, some people don't want to talk about it others are more willing to share.

One of my coworkers gave me a sympathy card. It meant a lot to me BUT we are very close and have been for 13 years. Everyone handles these things differently. Has she approached you about it? I would have felt unconcomfortable if someone I hadn't told approached me about so I would just wait and see if she tells you...
