Just found out.....

That my aunt went between 5 and 6 weeks LATE with 3 of my cousins.

She's been written up in some medical journal. Her body just held those kids longer to cook.

No mind you, this was back in the 70s when doctors didn't know nuthin' bout birthin' no babies...

My mom was 4 weeks late with me and was late with both of my brothers...I was 8lbs 11oz

They were each in the 9lb range.

Of course, back then there were no growth sonos to date pgs, just LMP, so I'm sure the original due dates HAD to be off by a couple weeks. But it's thought that her "natural gestation" period was likely between 43-44 weeks.

Her last baby was just over 2 weeks late....

My mother had 4 kids and we were all late. The longest was my brother, who ws 4 weeks late. She said she was surprised by my other brother because he was only a week late.
I was 3 weeks late.

My brother was 4 or 5 weeks late... he was due in november, and was born January 2 (this was in 1980).

I would guess that the due dates were off.

I would guess their due dates were off too. I know my mom realized she was off about 2 weeks with me and they thought I was late, but I was really right on time.

Now, my friend went 41 weeks with her daughter and when she says that to someone they look at her like she was nuts.
