Just fell down the stairs

I was walking downstairs in my house and somehow my foot slipped out from under me and I went flying down about 7 steps....

I called the doc and she said to see if there is any cramping or bleeding and if so to come in.

I can't believe this. Do you think it will be ok? I don't feel any cramping or bleeding, my butt and elbows took 100% of it.

Oh, im so sorry. I think you will be ok as long as you on't have any cramping or bleeding. Just keep an idea on what your body is doing.....hope your ok.

I think you are fine, if your tush, and elbow took the most, then im sure you fine. I hope you are feeling ok.. Just watch for what the MD said, but i would try not to worry.

Oh Danielle, I am so sorry that you fell. I am sure that everything will be ok! If your tush is anything like mine, the baby didn't even move at all! Just be extra sensitive of any pains or feelings and don't be afraid to go to the Doc even if everything feels fine! You have a right to know that everything is ok!

I am sorry you fell. I'm sure it is ok as long as you are not bleeding/cramping. Your tush seemed to have taken most of the blow!

Thanks so much ladies. I am kind of freaking out. I keep running to check for bleeding (other than my elbow).

As a medic this is what I would say to you.......RELAX. The baby is so well protected and our bodies are trained to protect the baby first, and us second. Drink some water, rest on the couch and chill today. The more stressed and upset upi are the more stressed the baby gets........As a women I say I would be freaked out to, but it happens. We all fall, and I think sometimes we're more suprised we fell then anything else. It'll be ok. You landed on your butt and elbows. PLEASE try to relax

OMG..sorry you fell sweetie. Hope you're ok. I feel too last week (on my elbows)..I went to the dr..just to calm myself down.

If you feel uncomfortable in any way..just go see the Dr...that will put your mind at ease.

I fell at 9 w and my butt and arms took most of it. I was really upset but I ended up just resting that day and everything was fine...try to take it easy today and I hope you feel better soon!..

Oh Im so sorry you fell. I took a flop when I was 7 mos, but I fell sideways and I was ok. Just keep a close watch on everything and try to rest. Don't worry, the baby is VERY cushioned in there.

Thank you sooooo much everyone. I cannot tell you how much better all your messages are making me feel.

I will just take it easy today I guess.

I keep checking and there is no bleeding. It would have come by now if there was something wrong right?

Thanks so much for asking! My butt is really sore and my elbow is bruised but I think I am going to be ok. I'm not feeling anything different going on in my belly and there hasn't been any bleeding...I've been sitting on a pillow but I think I might migrate over to the couch soon and stretch out a bit.

I was a klutzola early on and fell a couple of times. I also fell one day at work in front of a bunch of nurses at around 7 months and gave them all a heart-attack. Everything's been A-OK though and I am sure you are both going to be fine too.
