Just feeling really beaten down today
I am having a hard time bouncing back this time. I guess after a failed ivf and FET its just hard for me to feel optimistic at all. I am just so down today :( DH is taking me out for a belated birthday dinner and I don't even want to go

I feel your pain today. I really hope your night got a little better for you. Tomorrow is another day, try to think about your next step and what it's going to be. Maybe that will help???

I agree w / this. I'm so sorry Amanda.  I am completely lost right now- I'm very much not 'me'... I am starting to think I'm crazy.
I really think it's b/c though we know what are next steps should be- they're taking what feels like FOREVER to get here---- and we still have 2 more months to go.
I feel like we've been trying for so long that it's become my 'norm' and I'm totally out of sorts right now b/c we aren't allowed to try.   Then w/ what's going on w/ my grandma as well- well, that was my other 'norm' and that's not here anymore either--- 
Anyway, my point is that I can relate, though differently. Let me know if you want to GTG. My calendar is pretty free lately, assuming I have a car.  
I hope you were able to enjoy yourself some tonight. I think it's times like these that we have to try to focus on what we do have, rather than what's missing...

Staying positive and bouncing back trying live a "normal" life is the hardest thing about this nightmare of a journey.. I am soo soo sorry.. Fm me if you want some encouragment.. I am here for you in everyway..

Amanda, I just saw this, I'm so sorry your FET didn't work  Give yourself time to cry, scream and vent, and then regroup. Never give up hope - miracles bigger than this happen every day

Hey, don't you think you are being a little too hard on yourself. You just found out this didn't work. You need to give yourself some time. I know you want to skip this hard part, but you cannot move forward if you don't let your feelings in. Unfortunately grieving is a process. And AF (hate her) is on her way too and your hormones are just a little bit more messed up.
I moped around all of June and then a friend asked me to go with her to Montreal (end of July). My first reaction was "I can't go to Montreal, is she crazy". I wasn't even doing anything but waiting at this point to meet with Cornell (which happened to be the day before the trip, so I knew I wasn't going to be in the middle of a cycle). I took a deep look within and realized the old me would have bounced on that in a second. What was stopping me? It was fear. I'm not suggesting to go to Montreal, but I'm saying even if you don't want to go out to dinner. GO!!!!!!! You might be surprised with yourself and have a nice (maybe even fun) time. I hope you did!!!
