Just did my first PIO- myself
It really was not bad. The oil was so thick coming out of the vial I was a little worried but I warmed it in a heating pad for a minute or so and it slid right in. 2 more days of shots!

Yeah!!!  Good for you! As long as you heat the area and the syringe, I find it's not too bad!! You will feel GREAT once the shots are over!!

Wow! And I was amazed at myself for doing the follistim shot by myself! I don't know if I have the strength to do an IM shot! Good for you!

I would never tell DH this but, I preferred doing the PIO myself. I had less bruising when I did it myself. But, I wanted him to feel a part of it so I sucked it up and let him do it.
