Just curious?
What's all the hype about the 'teacup' dogs? I see a few posts on here inquiring about them and I'm just curious as to what is it about them that makes them so popular. I understand that they are tiny and adorable (but then again I find all dogs - big and small- adorable. Is it just the fact that they are so tiny?
Like I said...just curious.

Re: Just curious?
I thnk it is just because they are tiny and adorable.
My aunt has a teacup yorkie - smaller than two fists put together and she is freaking CUTE, so cute - a teeny ball of adorableness. I want to steal her everytime I go there.

Re: Just curious?
Tea cup is basically just tiny. A good breeder won't advertise "tea-cup" and it's not a recognized term from the akc. There isn't a breed that is that. My little boy is very small he and only 3lbs, he was adopted not purchased. I am asked constantly he if he a teacup and explain that to people because they will pay a lot when people say tea cup when in reality it doesn't exisit. I love dogs of all sizes I have a 3lb one and a 75lb one and I love them both the same and are both adorable to me.

Re: Just curious?
I think its mainly because their sooo portable also! I can take my doggie anywhere..and I usually hate leaving any dog home alone for long periods of time..
