Just Back From the Dr.

Well first off, the mystery regarding what happened to my 2nd blood test for the nuchlear screening has been solved. I did have the 2 blood test done, but they were both sent to different labs. The results from the first one were a little scary, but the second one showed that Shaylie is fine. Again, there's no guarantee that everything is ok since I won't have an amnio done, but based on all my other results things look good.

Shaylie's heartbeat is nice and strong and the doctor picked it up right away. My daughter finally cooperated for once

My bp was a little high 150/90 and my weight stayed the same. Its unbelievable that I haven't gained anything.

So afterwards, we went inside her office to discuss the other tests that I have to have done. On the day I go for the fetal ecko cardio gram, I also have to have the 1 hr glucose test done, a 24 hr urine test. That god for the urine test, I can collect it 48 hrs before I have to go and bring it to the hospital. I can't see myself taking this huge orange jug with me to work to collect my urine for the day. I'm also having blood work done to check my kidneys. The on Monday, I have to call and schedule a sonogram with this doctor who deals with hypertension during pregnancy. They are going to check Shaylie's growth.

Since yesterday, I've been feeling crappy like I'm coming down with something. Well instead of getting red and white dots on my throat, I got them on the roof of my mouth all the way in the back due to my post nasal drip. So she gave me a note to stay home on Monday from work. Yes, unfortunately, I have work that day, but I have Tuesday & Wednesday off due to the Jewish holidays.

So that's my update.
