Just ate a chicken salad sandwich...
was that not ok? it was a chicken salad on whole wheat. chicken fresh and well cooked. now i'm not sure about the mayo...which i never ever even eat. is this one time ok?

Why would there be anything wrong with chicken salad? I thought it was totally fine... it's one of the few deli foods I feel comfortable getting.

I don't avoid anything from the deli... bring on the cold cuts, salads, etc! Neither of my drs have ever told me not to eat anything, so I eat whatever I want!

the only time you have to worry about mayo is if it's homemade but I'm pretty sure that 99.99999999% of delis buy it big and bulk so def no worries there. .

Oh I'm sure they are fine too! Literally almost no one makes their own mayo. .

Mayo like Helmans is totally safe. Some people make their own Mayo with raw eggs & thats dangerous. I doubt whoever made that sandwich used raw-egg homemade mayo.
