Jumper or Walker
DS is 7 months old and he just is not very interested in the exersaucer anymore. I never really wanted a walker but we got one for Christmas and it's still in the box. Do you think I should return it for a jumper or just use the walker?
We live in an apartment so there is not too much space to move around in the walker. Which do you think he would be interested in for a longer period of time?
I miss being able to put him in the exersaucer to get a few things done.

Re: Jumper or Walker
At 7 months, I would just return the walker and probably skip the jumperoo. You will probably only use it for like a month.
DS started crawling at 7 months and had no interest being in the jumperoo.

DS is crawling and he pulls himself to stand right now. So he probably wouldn't want to sit in the jumper either?

He may like it for very short periods of time. I think those toys are for non-mobile babies though.
DS loved it months 4-7. After month 7, he wanted nothing to do with it. I think we kept the exersaucer out until month 8. We retired the jumperoo before the exersaucer.

Re: Jumper or Walker
the walker was my fave toy for ds. we also live in a small apt and i used to joke he was going to get dizzy from walking in a circle around the living room!
i know my son really loved his walker. i think he felt independent in it.
i dont know if he used it any longer than anything else. we began using the walker at about 7 months and he began walking on his own at 12 months.

edited to say - ds also had a jumper and preferred his walker over the jumper. i guess it depends on the child.

Re: Jumper or Walker
From the posts it seems DS would tolerate the jumper the same as the exersaucer. Not sure what to do. I am thinking of either returning it or keeping the walker.
