juat wondering does anyone find they do things the same way or..

use the same products as your mom.

ex, the same laundry detergent, soap, ketchup, cook etc.. could be anything.

I find I use some of the same products I grew up with an never try others.

Not really. We do things a lot differently.

Some, but not all.
I have developed some of the same mannerisms as my mom, not sure if that is a good thing.

When I was really young, and on my own for the first time, yes, but as I have gotten older, I use most things I have found on my own. Now my parents use the stuff I find. They were stuck in a huge rut.

Yes. Like, my mom is the female version of the Dad from My Big, Fat Greek Wedding. She loves Windex. It is practically glued to her hand in my mental image of my mom - Windex and paper towels So, I absolutely love Windex. It actually gives me joy to clean because I grew up cleaning and those were my chores - to help her clean.

I'm trying to think about products - like, she has a swiffer, so I have a swiffer. She has the broom and dustpan - classic! I have a broom and dustpan. I bought the same kind of mop she always used. I didn't think to myself, let me buy the same one I always saw mom using but I just automatically did it. I never really question cleaning with her - she is absolutely the neatest person I have ever known. It is perfectionist-level stuff. So, I figure - if she cleans with it, it must be good/effective

Food - yeah, she always made certain dishes that I make. We always have certain appetizers at party - shrimp cocktail platter, spinach dip in the bread bowl, veggie platter with ranch dip, etc. Those things are staples.

Yes and no. I always use Dove soap which was a staple in our house. But my mom never changed from using brand names like Tide and Downy. I use Dynamo and Final Touch instead. I use Oxyclean and my mom won't.

I also find that I use more store brands than my mom ever will. Not sure why but that's how she is.

Yea kinda. I use the same detergent, and fold the towels the same way as my mom. I found myself buying a windchime recently. My mom always had a chime in our yard. Some other ransom things I find myself doing and it's just as she would have done.

the only product that i am loyal to because it was what we used growing up is toothpaste: colgate

i will say that when i look in the mirror, it's my mom looking back at me. relatives are always saying that my mannerisms are just like hers.

other than that... nope.
we are polar opposites on everything in life.
