Journaling? Do you write down your daily symptoms?

Does anyone keep track of daily symptoms? A friend told me the other day that she journaled each day's symptoms, and how she was feeling (physically, emotionally, etc); sounds like a great idea, but maybe hard to keep up with?

Any thoughts are welcome!!!

I did it weekly. There's a journal I bought that had you write down your cravings, how you felt physically, etc. every week. I love looking back at it. Chat Icon

I would think weekly would be more interesting to do than daily, IMO. Not much usually changes from day to day, KWIM? I know some weeks I wrote pretty much the same stuff as the prior week b/c not much had changed.

But you can't go wrong, no matter how you do it! Chat Icon

I have a journal but it is by no means daily. In the beginning itwas more frequent. But I am so glad I did it. I wrote it as if I was writing to the baby.

Great idea! Weekly sounds much less intimidating to keep up with than a daily journal. And I love how the other poster mentioned that she writes as if she's writing TO her baby. That's a great idea, too.

10 1/2 weeks isn't too late - I'm going out to get a journal this week!

Nope, I haven't journaled at all. I thought I would but I never got around to it. I think it's a great idea though. I probably would have done it weekly.

What I do is more like a symptom tracker. I was doing it when we were TTC to see how I was feeling, esp in the 2ww. I continued and just jot down notes...ie: cramping, tired, sore boobs, etc. I actually stopped between the 7th and 9th weeks, and I regret it b/c I forget from week to week on how I'm feeling.

I have been journaling through the entire pregnancy. I do it every two or three weeks. I write about all the changes, MD appointments, etc.

Part of what fueled me to do this was after talking to several recent moms right as I got pregnant, none of them could remember the MD appointments, the tests, reactions, all the little stuff. I want to remember.
