Re: johnson & johnson?
I used (and still use) California Baby for DS. I haven't really had any issues with their products.

Re: johnson & johnson?
I read about it when I was pregnant and decided not to use any of their products. I actually returned stuff I got at my shower.
We use California baby and I love it. It's expensive, but I bought a HUGE one and it has lasted for 4 months and there is still SOOO much left, so it's worth it.

Re: johnson & johnson?
I won't patronize j&j again. I recently threw out all the body wash and lotions I had (both j&j and aveeno).

What about the store brands of J&J products? Like the up & up from Target?
I'm gonna check this out now.

Re: johnson & johnson?
I will never use J&J again or any brands they produce. I first heard about this issue a few years ago & still no fix on their end to this day. They are disgusting.

Re: johnson & johnson?
I stopped using J&J once my ped said she wasn't a fan of it. I tried burts bees but my dd would scream when it got near her eyes. I don't think its as tear free as they say. My ped reccomended aquaphor and its was I use mostly but I also love california baby.

Re: johnson & johnson?
It's funny you bring this up because I just had the same concern this week and asked my Homeopathic Dr. who said it's not the worsed but there are alot of toxins in it and I'm better or not taxing the baby so early that there will be enough other things in life that will provide toxins for the baby that we cant avoid lol. She is looking into the natural ones for me, I will let ya know.

I 100% agree with you that just because they don't use those products in their Aveeno line doesn't mean that I should use that instead. They own Aveeno. I don't want the makers of this product to get any of my money regardless if their other products are safe. They put cancer causing agents in a baby product and won't fix it. If that's not gross, I don't know what is. So I looked up their brands so I knew what to boycott. They own A LOT. Just like Nestle, who I also boycott because of their breastfeeding scandal (Google it, it's disgusting what they did just to earn some money)in Africa and because of their use of growth hormones in their dairy products.
Anyway... if you want to boycott J&J here is what you need to avoid... Acuvue Actifed Ambi Aveeno Bactidol Band-Aid Benadryl Benecol Bengay Benylin Bonamine Caladryl Calpol Calcough Calprofen Calgel Calrub Carefree Clean & Clear Coach Coach Professional Coach Sport Codral Combantrin Compeed Conceptrol Cortaid Cortef Delfen Desitin Dolormin E.P.T. Re: johnson & johnson?
I registered for all Burts Bees and California Baby products and ended up getting allllll J&J at my shower. People just connect them with baby. I have a cabinet full of their stuff and I dont want to use it because of these claims. What a waste!

Just return them to BBB. They take back anything as long as they sell it. You will prob get store credit which you will def use lol. Be careful with the California Baby now too. They changed their formula and now a lot of babies are getting really bad rashes. Check out their facebook page of complaints. This really stinks because DS has really bad eczema and California Baby was the only product that worked for us. We use the lotion on his face and the body wash. I hope they change the new formula back to the old one before I run out of my old stuff or else I have no clue what I am switching to UGHHHH

Buy Buy Baby... but for future reference, Bed Bath and Beyond will do the same thing. Like if someone gets you a Christmas gift or something that you don't like with no receipt, they will take it back as long as they sell it. They have a great return policy. Both stores are owned by the same people.
The website that the poster above posted is really, really great. We especially use it to pick out sunscreen for DS. Who knew that sunscreen was so toxic lol. The things you learn when becoming a mother!
