John has put me through the ringer this week.
I'm telling you I have been a wreck with him since last Thursday.
Thursday: He is in our office playing nicely on the computer, but he starts to swing around on the chair. Many times we both told him to stop. And he would. Well he is in here with Daddy and Daddy comes into the hall to tell me something and BOOM! John spun his chair and flew off of it, smacked the back of his head onto a file cabinet. He comes screaming over to me, puts his head on my cheek and its wet, yep he cut his head. Apply pressure for awhile and it stopped. Very bad scrape.
Monday~Had to take him with me to have some bloodwork, go to quest, he is clowing around on the chairs loses balance and smacks face first onto the floor, gets up has a rug burn on his nose. Thankfully not broken but the mark is pretty bad.
Tuesday~Comes into my room with a thomas train and a metal dowel (from furniture which I have no clue where he got it). I take it from him put it on a high shelf in the office. He was crying for it, I told him no way go play with your trains in mommy's room. We go play trains. I get up to go to the bathroom, I come back and he puts something in his mouth and then starts yelling, I ate it I ate it. I'm like you ate what whats in your mouth and he said Thomas, I was like WHAT??? he takes my hand brings me to the office, I realize ok this kid stood up on the chair, climbed on the desk and took it back. He got nervous when he saw me and tried to hide it in his mouth. So now I have to get him to the ER. In that lovely snowstorm. He was a champ in the ER and for the xrays, I saw that it was already in his stomach on the way to his intestines. Had to watch his poop as per dr. I gave him so many grapes and glasses of pear juice. Getting so worried that this thing would get stuck or worse. Thank God it came out this morning.
Never in his 2 years 11 months did this kid ever put things in his mouth EVER. This week was by far my most trying week as a mommy. I need a vacation
this is what he swallowed

They say things happen in 3's. Maybe that means he's done for a while!!!
Glad to hear that he is OK!
