Re: Job swap

I don't think I have the experience yet, but I wouldn't want to. She has to deal with a lot of BS sometimes that I would hate.

Re: Job swap

Nope, I could not do my boss' job...

the attorney part I could probably swing... you get to know a lot about the law working all these years with laywers..

its the fact that he has a chemical and electrical engineering background and works in patent/trademark law ... this would make it impossible for me to do the tekkie/geeky stuff Chat Icon

Yes, I definitely could, but I don't want to. He has to deal with alot of political BS that I would not want to deal with.

No. He deals a lot with school-budget related things that would go over my head, and he's a better "people person" when it comes to dealing with parents.

I probaaly could, but I wouldn't want to. Her job has become much more abtou bugets & finances, which aren't really my thing.

She also has more experiecne workign for other companies inteh industry which I think is extremely valuable & I don't have.

Re: Job swap

yup- but I wouldn't be very good at first. My boss and I essentially have the same job- trial attorney. However, he has done many more trials and depositions than I have (He's in his late 60's and I am 29 (at least until Monday).

Plus my expereience was in a different field, so it would take me a little while to horn in on the proper questions for our kinds of cases. I have done trials and depositions, but not since I started this job. All my depositions get cancelled because we settle. Chat Icon

Re: Job swap

No not at all.. My boss is up every night until 3:00 or 4:00.. I go to bed at 9:00 so I am pretty sure I would never ever be able to do his job Chat Icon

Re: Job swap

I think with more experience I could. I am the supervisor and with more time and experience with the company I could definatly handle his job.
