Job/interview related
Would you call an HR recruiter to check on status of position/hiring decision just 4 days after an interview?
I met with HR recruiter then manager then dept head in same day
Recruiter was very excited about me. The other meetings went well too but i dont know my competition
My current employer has amazing tuition reimbursement and i am about to start my next college course on Monday. I only took one other course and this is just a "bonus" degree for me so I would drop out of the school for now if I was offered new job because they don't offer same college reimbursement
I basically need to know ASAP otherwise i will be out of $$
Can i just call her to ask and explain?

Totally. Call recruiter and explain. See what they know (if anything)
It's not like you're calling the potential employer so soon.

Absolutely not. Maybe it's industry specific but in my field that would be seriously frowned upon.
ETA if they are interviewing other candidates and you call asking that I honestly believe you will ruin your chances. They cannot make a decision until the finish interviewing everyone they're interested in.

I wouldn't. Seems too soon to call if you were just there on Monday.

I wouldn't; I feel like it could hurt your chances if they are still deciding.
