JHS vs. Bio Ionic Straightening ??

What is the difference between JHS and Bio Ionic straightening? Is it the same thing? If not, what's the difference?

I have no idea, but I have a friend who always calls JHS "bionic hair"

Bio Ionic is a form of JHS- it's a brand name of the product used

I have had both and was a Bio Ionic hair model at the hair show a few years back

Bio Ionic is very $$$$ and the stylist who did my hair normally charges $1K- I got it for free b/c I was her model that year

of all of the JHS products that have been put on my hair in the last 5 years- Top point has done the best job hands down- and it cost $200- $250 with tip for long hair - bra strap lenght and less for shorter

after going to top point I no longer needed to use a hair dryer for the first 3 months- my hair dried straight- that has never happened with anyone product or place regardless of cost

I just got my hair done at top point yesterday and it came out amazing-

My sister just got her hair done yesterday. She said it was Bio Ionic, not JHS. I wasn't sure of the difference, or if there even was one.

She has very curly hair and has been using a straightening iron every day for years. I'm excited to see how her hair came out. She said it's very soft, but she can't was it til Thurs, which sounds about right from all the posts I read on here.

I asked my stylist once about JHS (for my sister, since I have straight hair) and she went on and on about how bad it is and how it damages your hair. I couldn't imagine it doing more damage than using a straightening iron every day. I've read so many positive posts on here, that I'm glad she decided to do it.

She went to a salon in Babylon. I have to find out which one. She has short hair though, shoulder length, and I hope she didn't pay almost $1k for it!! Yikes!!!!

it's the same thing- there are different brands of products they use

Bio Ionic is a great product- second best to what they use at top point in my honest opinion- for MY hair

I have been getting it done for 5 years- and my hair is soft, shiney and health looking- most hair stylist have no idea my hair is JHS when I go for a hair cut

I'm sure her hair looks great- different products work better on different hair-

I find alot of hair stylist say how bad it is for your hair- but I really don't see that in my own hair- my friend at work- has the same hair as me and her mom is hair stylist and she isn't allowed to get it done! so I am going to go and show her mom my hair- so she will feel better about it-

i had the JHS this past saturday and the name of the actual brand was Bio Ionic

I really hope my sister loves her hair as much as everyone else on this site.

She has such naturally curly hair, and she's been using a straightening iron for years. I hope she loves it!!

I hope she does also- it changed my life!

I am out the door in less then 45 minutes- when it used to take me 45 to do my hair!

and my hair can get wet in the rain and not curl or frizz

let me know how she likes it!
