JHS "retouching" issue...please help!

Sorry for yet another JHS thread...in Feb 2008 I went to Hair Village to get JHS. It came out amazing-shiny, smooth, super straight. I went back in August 08 to HV and this time it came out eh. Def not as shiny and DEF not as sleek or straight (the hair felt damaged and it kind of had a wave). Friday, I decided (after doing my research here) to try New Mode in Plainview. Well, the same thing happened-areas of my hair have waves and the hair right behind my ear is so ratty and damaged. The underside doesn't feel smooth either When I first had JHS done, I thought it was the best thing ever, and now I'm wondering what the heck happened? It's so disappointing, I guess I am just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience with your 2nd or 3rd JHS not coming out like the 1st. Any advice? I am trying to get a hair cut appt for tomorrow....thanks as always for reading!

Yes...this has happened to me!

Honestly it really depends on the PERSON who does your hair...some people arent trained properly to do JHS.

Ive been getting JHS for 5 years now, the first time I got it done it was amazing...but some of my hair fell out. the 2nd time I went somewhere different and the stylist used a different JHS product brand and it wasnt as straight. same thing for the 3rd time.

Ive also had my hair dyed/highighted and processed within these 5 years.

I just got my hair JHS in february...I go to HV I have for about 3 years now, and this time it was done well except they missed a small patch of hair thats a bit wavy (but not where I part my hair) and a flat iron fixes it right away.

When I went in July 08 it was done perfectly...except the baby hairs on the back of my head got ratty from me sweating (i didnt have an AC in my apartment and couldnt wash the hair for 3days) so that was annoying until it grew out.

I also find that 2 weeks after i get JHS i ALWAYS go for another haircut somewhere else becuase they cut your hair fresh after the JHS and they dont cut it after your hair has gotten its "body" back, you know the way its going to look after that just done look is gone...so I reccomend doing that.

Hope all of that helps, I mean everyones hair is different, this is just my story. There are so many other girls here who have gotten JHS multiple times, hopefully they can give u another perspective.
