JHS Girls!!! QUESTION!!???

For the girls that get the JHS..

Ok now I have gotten the JHS for 6 years now. NEVER once had a problem.

So this past year 2009 I went away March and before I went away I did my at home dye of my hair like I alway do. no biggie.. washes out ok.. so then in the beginning of May i got the JHS done as always. BUT this time I noticed my hair has been soooo dry :(. this is the first time in 6 years of me getting it that this has EVER happened. Now my husband says I am crazy and so do friends. But I know my hair. After the shower and in the shower I feel the difference.

So I thought it was my Pantene Pro V shampoo & conditioner that mind you I have been using since I was a little girl.

So I started to use the salon shampoo and conditioner that they gave me at the salon. well its worse :(.

So i am thinking maybe I need to go with something that is made for JHS?

What do you girls use? Or maybe I am just paranoid Chat Icon

Re: JHS Girls!!! QUESTION!!???

I don't do JHS but I thought I would offer some advice. Do you use any deep conditioning treatments? My frizzy hair can get really dry but when I do a conditioning treatment it looks wonderful. Maybe you need to do the same? I just buy cheap ones from the drugstore, I find the brand barely matters. I have no idea if this would interact with the JHS treatment though.

I also remember reading that JHS girls need to use sulfate-free shampoos? Is this correct? If so, Loreal makes a good drugstore shampoo and conditioner that is sulfate free and is very gentle.

My sister warned me about this when she first started doing JHS about 10 years ago. So when I went for my first JHS treatment, she bought me some products from the Kerastase Nutritive line. It definitely softens my hair!!! The only other conditioner that seems to help is Redken Extreme Conditioner.
