JFK - Long Term Parking
Has anyone done long term parking at JFK? Where exactly do you park? Do you need to make a reservation for a spot? And what is the going rate?

We used Smart Park JFK . It is around the corner from the airport, you park there and they shuttle you right over to jfk. Pickup was easy too. $13/day and 1st day is free if you book a 7 day stay.

You don't need to make a reservation. If you are coming from LI, continue on the Belt pass the JFK exit. I think it's exit 18 -Lefferts. when you get off, make a left at the light. You will see employee parking on the left and long term parking on the right. The airtran comes to get you. I think it's like $24/day. It used to be a lot cheaper.
If you come from the Van Wyck, you can follow the signs for long term parking.

We used it in May. Just follow the directions on the road for long term parking, then you take the tram to your plane.
We had two kids with us and it was really easy!

You just follow the signs, there are alot of them and at some point you think you are never going to get there..but then you do.
Then we took the AirTrain from the parking lot to Jet Blue. The AirTrain was free, I'm sorry, I don't know how much it was for the parking, my DH took care of that and I had to take a different flight home for business reasons.

We done it a couple of times and it is very easy but give yourself a good 45 minutes to get yo your terminal. Sometimes it takes a while for the tram to come.. Then kids love it though.
