Jersey girls....i am blanking.
You know when you are coming from NY to NJ....and you take the BQE to the Verezzano and then you need to take 440 - is it 440 N or 440 S? This is to get to 287. I *think* 440 N leads to Bayonne which is not the direction I want to go in.
Everytime I put the adresses in mapquest or yahoo it takes me through the city which I do not want. I want to go through Brooklyn and Staten Island. When I drive myself I am fine, but I am having a BBQ Sunday and want to e-mail directions.
I think it is 440 South that leads to the Outerbridge?

THat's so funny, that's the way we drive to Jersey too and I just drive, never realizing north, south, etc.
For the Verrazano, its 278, not 287.....
You want 440 South to the Outerbridge Crossing.

For the Verrazano, its 278, not 287.....
You want 440 South to the Outerbridge Crossing.
287 is in NJ, after you go over the Outerbridge, you're on 440, which becomes 287.
If you're heading for the Outerbridge, I still think it's 440 south. I lived on Staten Island most of my life, but I have almost never gone from one bridge to another, so it's hard for me to be positive. I know how to get everywhere from my childhood home!
