I liked her with the short bob she had like 2 years ago, I had brought it to the hairdresser back then & cut mine
thankfully, mine's long again now....

It could be. I have also known women that had to cut thier hair some time after this because it was just breaking badly. Also, hate to add, age may play a factor. At some point for women the hair may grow but it just does not get long. It gets thinner, breaks and is uneven. That is happening to me right now and my hair was always very thick.
