jenn79- which power wheels?
Which power wheels did you decide on? I think I'm getting one too. Any idea if they work on hills?

How big of a Hill. My DS had a power wheels and it would do small hills but probably not big ones. It was def better on flat areas. Battery died within a year....we replaced it with a small motorcycle battery my DH had and then a bit later the axle broke. We probably got less than 2 years total out of it.

Our block has a pretty large hill :( I guess we can go back and forth past the 4 houses on the flat area. How difficult is it to put it in the car and take it somewhere like a park? I was going to get a 2 passenger.

We have the two passenger jeep and have had it for 2 years. We keep the battery inside during the colder months to prolong it's lifespan.
We've never taken it anywhere or used it on the street - the kids typically just drive it around the yard (on the grass, driveway, etc). Our backyard is on an incline and it has no problem going up and down it if the battery isn't dying.

We had a single person one. We took it camping with us. Not sure about the bigger ones.

Re: jenn79- which power wheels?
I ended up with the chevy Silverado. But I can't give any reviews yet since it's for Christmas. It's a two seater. And it got good reviews when I was looking it up. We bought it a while ago, but I remember reading reviews saying t was good on grass etc.
If you need it for hills I would definitely get a 12v. Not the 6. Most of the 12v are two seaters.

Nice. I didn't see that one. Where did you get it?
