Jean Stapleton Passed Away
All in the Family actress Jean Stapleton has died of natural causes at the age of 90.
The beloved actress, who played the lovable Edith Bunker on the classic CBS sitcom, passed away on Saturday (June 1) at her home in New York.
Jean didn’t reach stardom until she was nearly 50 years old and she won three Emmy Awards for her work on All in the Family, which she appeared on from 1971 to 1980. She then moved on to the spinoff Archie Bunker’s Place as a regular for one season.
We send our condolences to Jean‘s friends and family during this difficult time.
