Do you know the basic story line? It helps if you know a little bit of it before going in. I was sititng next to several people that couldn't follow it...

I'm pretty familiar with it. I saw a video of the original b'way show with Angela Lansbury in HS, and I own the original cast recording. It's not all that hard to follow. I hate when I'm at shows next to people who don't get what's going on.
