Japanese Maple Tree decorating
How do you decorate your Japanese maple tree for the holidays? Do you just simply string lights through the branches? Im afraid its gonna look sloppy if I do that. I have no idea how to decorate this thing! Its in the middle of my lawn, if that makes a difference.
ETA: if you do use lights, which kind? small blubs, the larger ones?

I'm not decorating it this year but next year I want to wrap the trunk and the large branches with lights.
I'm going to see if I can snag a ton of strings on sale post-season.

We hang large outdoor ornaments off of it and than up light it with a blue light. It looks cute.
